Our own daily BTC price, read on chain: the median across bitcoin wrappers (WBTC, cbBTC) of their pools against USDC and USDT, priced in a basket of dollar stablecoins, from 2020-07-13. Not CoinGecko. Each wrapper’s own peg is published separately. Recast on 2026-10-09 from a CoinGecko spot price.

What it measures. Our own daily price of bitcoin, read on chain from the pools where wrapped bitcoin trades against dollar stablecoins: the median across wrappers (WBTC, cbBTC), each pool read directly.
Basket dollars. Priced in a basket of dollar stablecoins, not in fiat dollars; the two differ by basis points. Each wrapper’s own peg to bitcoin, and each stablecoin’s peg to the dollar, are published as their own series.
Why not a market data feed. Every value is computed from public chain data on our own reads, so it carries no third-party licence. It replaced a CoinGecko spot price on 2026-10-09.
Sample. From 2020-07-13, the first day the on-chain pools are deep enough to read.
